How to use the email function in Hubspot

Tip! Connect your personal inbox to Hubspot so that email conversations are automatically logged in Hubspot, and so that you can use Hubspot's email tools directly from within your inbox.

On any contact records, click the "Create an email" toggle button

Write your email

Click "Send" when done.

You can now see your email sent in the contact's timeline.

Use Hubspot's email templates

Click here.

Click "Templates"

Click "Select"

Alert! If you can't find the Template created by another team member, change the owner setting

The template will be added to your email. Review it and fix any errors.

Click "Send" when done.

Use Sequences

Click "Sequences"

Select your Sequence.

Check your sequence and fix any errors.

Click "Start sequence"

Add Documents to your emails

Click "Documents"

Click "Select"

Your document will be a hyperlink.

Add Meeting Links

Click "Meetings"

Click "Insert scheduling link"

Choose your Meeting Link

It'll be added as a hyperlink.

Add Quotes to your emails

Click "Quotes"

Choose your Quote. For Example: Click "Cool Quote to Send (expired)" and it'll be added as a hyperlink

Add invoices to your emails

Click "Insert"

Click "Invoices"

Click "Your Example Invoice"

Done! It'll be added as a hyperlink.

Add snippets to your emails

Click "Insert"

Click "Snippets"

Search for your snippets and Click on it.

You can also use #yoursnippet to add with its shortcut.

Create a task to follow-up

Click on the little box next to "Send" to create a follow-up task for yourself. You can select the number of business days.

Associate to other records

You can associate your email to other records (such as company, deals, contacts)
