Deere

Power on the monitor and allow it to fully boot up

Insert the USB drive that has the prescription shapefiles on it

This USB Drive Options window will automatically pop up Click "Import Data"

Click "Next"

Select the Gen4 Data folder

Click "Next"

You should see Prescriptions in the window already checked for you Click "Import"

Click "Ok" when the import is completed

Remove the USB drive and return to the home screen

Click "SETUP" in the lower left corner of the home screen

Click "Target Rate/Rx" box

Choose "Rx"

Click the box next to "Rx" to choose the prescription

Select the prescription you'd like to use

Click "Ok"

This screen is where you can change the prescription setup if needed The "Look Ahead" value is how far in advance the monitor looks at the prescription rate as you're going along. If your implement isn't changing rates fast enough when switching to a new zone, increase the look ahead value The "Multiplier" value allows you to change the prescription rates from the field without having to get a new prescription. It's based on percentage of original value. For example, if you want to **increase** your rates by **10%**, set your multiplier to **110%**

The "No GPS Rate" is the rate the machine will switch to if you lose GPS signal. By default, the "Maintain Previous Rate" will be selected which will hold the rate steady until you acquire GPS signal again The "Out of Zone Rate" is the rate the machine will switch to if your equipment enters an area that isn't on the prescription map. If you'd like to continue applying outside the prescription area, set a rate here that the machine can switch to.

Click "Ok" when you're ready to move on

Click "Save" when you're finished with the prescription setup

Click "Ok" to return to the home screen

Now you're finished and the map background should automatically change to a colored map of the prescription
