Independent Team Registration Instructions

This guide provides essential step-by-step instructions for coaches and team managers to successfully register independent teams and players with the Missouri Youth Soccer Association. It simplifies the registration process, ensuring that all necessary forms and payments are completed efficiently. By following this guide, users can avoid common pitfalls and ensure compliance with risk management requirements, ultimately facilitating a smoother experience for both coaches and players.

Coach Registration

Navigate to [https://www.missourisoccer.org/administration/](https://www.missourisoccer.org/administration/)

Click "Coach/Manager Registration"

Click "Register" next to the user you wish to register or you can Add a new User using the button on top.\ \**Typically, this will be yourself*

Select the role you wish to register as (Coach, Manager or both), then click Start.

Enter and/or verify that all of your profile information updated and correct. Click "Save and Continue" at the bottom.

Click "Start" next to each incomplete Required Form.\ *\*\*If all required forms have already been completed, it may skip this screen for you.*\ \ Once forms are complete, click "Submit".

DON'T STOP HERE. Click through the next few payment pages to finish your registration. \ No payment information will be collected at this step, but it is a necessary piece of the registration system.

From there, your Coach/ Manager Registration is complete, and you should be able to begin completing your Risk Management Requirements.

Nearly all of the MYSA Risk Management requirements can be completed through the US Soccer Learning Center platform. Team Registration

Navigate back to <https://www.missourisoccer.org/administration/>

Locate Step 2 under Independent Team Registration.\ Click "Independent Team Registration"

Please enter your team information to locate / create their team profile. If you are creating a new team, you must still "search" for that team so that the system can verify the team does not already exist.

It is CRITICAL that you Select "MYSA Independent Teams" option under the Club selection. This ensures that your team is able to complete the registration.

Select the correct Gender and Age Group for your team.\ Click "Search"

NEW TEAMS ONLY (Existing Teams can proceed to Step 16) If your team is not found in the system, you will see the prompt below allowing you to enter your team information and create a new team profile.

Once again, it is CRITICAL that you Select "MYSA Independent Teams" option under the Club selection. This ensures that your team is able to complete the registration.

Verify/update the team Gender, Current Age, and all other information are entered correctly. Once complete, click "Save".

Once your team has been selected or created, Click "Register" to proceed with the registration.

Verify your personal contact information.\ Click "Save and Continue"

Verify your team's event registration details below.\ This is yet another step to verify the team's name, current age and gender are all entered correctly, as this is how your players will see the team listed on their registration.\ Once verified, Click "Submit"

Click "Select" under the Team Registration Fee. Click "Continue to Checkout"

Enter your payment information to submit the team application fee payment. Once submitted, you should be taken to a receipt of payment page.

Player Registration

Navigate to <https://www.missourisoccer.org/administration/>

**Locate step 3: Once a team has been created and/ or registered for the current season, players can register and select the necessary team:** Click "Player Registration"

Click the "Register" (or "Continue") button to register the intended person. If you need to add new family member, click "Search"

From this page, you can update the Player's photo and verify that all vital information is correct. Click "Save and Continue" once all information is entered correctly.

Enter Player's Emergency Contact info.\ \**At least one Contact is required.* Entering Medical and Insurance Information is encouraged but not required.

On this step, you will select the Team Age Group of the team you are wanting to register with. Click "Submit"

The system will default to the player's current age group, but you are able to select older age groups as well. \ MYSA rules allow players in most age groups to play UP 2 age groups.\ Only the oldest (U18/U19) age groups allow players to play up 4 age groups.

Select your team from the drop-down list.

The system will only show teams who are currently registered, and match the gender and selected age group in the previous step. \ \ If you are not seeing your team in the list, please go back to previous steps to verify that your selections noted above match the team you are intending to register with.\ \ If you are still not seeing the correct team, please reach out to the coach of the team so that they can notify the MYSA staff.

Complete each of the MYSA Roster Requirements by clicking the "Start" button next to each. If the requirement was completed previously, it will show as Complete.

Click "Select" under the required Player Fee.\ Click "Continue to Checkout"\ Enter and submit payment information.
