Insert Links in Text Fields

INSERT A LINK

Edit your Page or Post.

Select the block that you would like edit and insert a text link on by clicking in the block.

Switch to Edit mode (if desired), to allow more space and visibility for editing the text.

Type the text you would like to link in the Text field.

Select the text you would like to make into a link.

Click the "Insert/Edit Link" button.

Type the URL the text will link to in the box.

Click the "Link Options" button for additional settings.

If desired, check the "Open link in a new tab" setting to have the link open in a new tab rather than the existing tab. NOTE: It is only recommended to open links in a new tab if the link is to an external site and not a link to another page within your own site.

Click "Update"

EDIT AN EXISTING LINK

To edit an existing link place your cursor in the linked text or highlight it to select it then click the "Edit" button.

In the box the pops up edit the link.

Click the "Apply" button when finished editing.

REMOVE A LINK

To remove an existing link place your cursor in the linked text or highlight it to select it.

Click the "Remove link" button.

SAVE CHANGES

When you are finished with your updates, click the "Update" button to save your changes.
