Install and Configure the Cartcraft Price Tracker App

This guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough for installing and configuring the Cartcraft Price Tracker App. By following these instructions, you can easily implement the app in your store. First step: Install the app

Navigate to <https://apps.shopify.com/cartcraft-price-tracker> Click **“Install”**.

Click **“Install”** again to confirm.

Second Step: Add the Theme Block

In your Shopify admin, click **“Online Store”**.

Click **“Customize”**.

In the theme editor, click the dropdown menu at the top.

Click **“Products”**.

Select the product template you want to add the app to.

Click **“Add Block”**.

Click **“Apps”**.

Click **“Discount Price Tracker”**.

Drag it to your desired location.

Click **“Save”**.

Your price history will now be correctly displayed and recorded. You are now legally compliant! ✅ Congratulations ❤️ All other steps are optional.

How to Change the Design

In the app, click **“Design Settings”**.

Select the page where you want to change the design.

Uncheck the box to enable custom styling for the page.

Select a custom font.

Edit the font size.

Change the alignment.

Change colors.

Use the color picker.

Add an icon.

Add a background color.

Use the color picker to choose the background color.

Adjust margins.

Edit the top and bottom padding.

Change the left and right background padding.

Edit the corner radius.

Click **“Save Settings”**.

Add a Custom Font

Go to [Google Fonts](https://fonts.google.com/) and browse fonts.

Select a font, for example, **“Roboto”**.

Click **“Get font”**.

Click **“Download”**.

Unzip the downloaded file.

In your Shopify admin, click **“Content”**.

Click **“Files”**.

Click **“Upload files”** and upload your custom font file.

Copy the link to the uploaded font file.

Click **“Apps”**.

Click **“Discount & Price Tracker”**.

Click **“Design Settings”**.

Click **“here”** to add a custom font.

Paste the font link.

Click **“Save”**.

Customize Settings

Click **“Customize Pricing”** in the app.

To hide the price for all products, select that option.

To always show the price indication, select that option.

To ignore subsequent discounts in calculations, select that option.

Change the period for the calculation if needed.

Click **“Save Information”**.

Click **“Accept”**.

Add Individual Settings to Products of a Collection

Click **“Add a new settings rule for a collection”**.

Select a collection, for example, **“Home page”**.

Click **“Edit”**.

Click here.

For example, change the rule for when percentages are shown.

Click **“Save Information”**.

Add Individual Settings for a Product

Click **“Products”**.

Select a product.

Click **“Edit”**.

Click **“Ignore Collection settings”**.

For example, choose **“Hide the lowest price”**.

You can also change the rule for when percentages are shown.

Click **“Save Settings”**.

How to Fix Issues with Product Synchronization

Click **“Products”**.

Click **“Synchronize Products”**.

How to Add Translations

Click **“Translations”**.

Click on the field **“The lowest price within the last...”**.

Translate the text to another language.

Click **“Save Settings”**.

How to Reset Settings and Get Back to Default

Click **“Reset this translation page template”**.

Click **“Reset”** to confirm.

How to Add the Price Indication on Other Pages

Click **“Home”** in the app.

Click **“Code Snippet”**.

Click **“Themes”** in the app or in your Shopify admin.

Click the **”…”** icon next to your theme.

Click **“Edit Code”**.

In the code editor, click **“Snippets”**.

Click **“Add a new snippet”**.

In the **“File name”** field, paste the file name copied from the app’s home page.

Here you can find it.

Click **“Done”**.

Go back to the app’s home page.

Click **“Download”**.

Copy the code (press **Cmd+A** to select all, then **Cmd+C** to copy).

Return to the code editor in Shopify.

Paste the code into the new snippet file you created.

Click **“Save”**.

To place the snippet on other pages, go back to the app’s home page.

Click **“Copy”** next to the placement code.

In the Shopify code editor, navigate to the template where you want to add the snippet.

Paste the placement code where you want the price indication to appear.

Click **[[“Save”]]**[[.]]

You’re done! ✅

How to Uninstall the App

In your Shopify admin, click **“Apps”**.

Click **“App and sales channel settings”**.

Find the app you want to uninstall.

Click "Uninstall"

Select a reason.

Click **“Uninstall”** to confirm.
