Installing Eclipse in Windows
This guide provides a step-by-step tutorial on how to install Eclipse on a Windows computer.

Open any web browser and type "**eclipse download**" in the search bar, then click on the **Eclipse Downloads** link which is from **eclipse.org**

**Eclipse Foundation** wizard will open, Scroll to the **Install your favorite desktop IDE packages** section and click on **Download Packages** link

**Eclipse IDE 2025-12 R Packages** wizard will open, scroll to the **Eclipse IDE for Enterprise Java and Web Developers** section and click on the **Windows x86_64** link

Click on **Download** button

**My Files** wizard will open, select the path to download the pacakge

Click on the **Save** button

After downloading the package, click on the File widget to open the package in the My Files

Right click on the **eclipse-jee-2025-12-R-win32-x86_64.zip** file and click on the **Extract All ...** option

**Extract Compresses (Zipped) Folders** wizard will open, click on the **Extract** button

Open the **eclipse** folder present inside the **eclipse-jee-2025-12-R-win32-x86_64** folder

Double click on the **eclipse.exe** file

**Eclipse IDE Launcher** wizard will open, select the directory and click on the **Launch** button

**Eclipse IDE 2025-12** wizard will open **Note:** It will take some time to open

**Eclipse workspace** will open, here you can start working on Eclipse IDE
