Insulin Pump Plan - Start a Patient

This guide helps healthcare providers set up and confirm insulin pump settings accurately for patients on pumps. 01/01/2026

Access the patient's record in the EMR. Click the toggle for "Insulin pump." It will turn blue.

Click the blue "Start Patient" button.

Review and confirm the patient's settings. Click the blue "Confirm" button.

The pump patient has been started successfully. You will see the setting, "Insulin Pump," in the patient's information.
