Integrations - How to enable and manage 3rd party app Integrations

Navigate to the C:Hub Customer Accounts Hub app

Click "Integrations" on the left side

Once on the integrations tab, you'll be able to manually scroll through the available integrations to manage and toggle them on. You can also use the search bar to more easily find the apps you're looking for.

What are Integrations?

Integrations are 3rd party apps that the C:Hub Customer Accounts app is able to load inside of the customer account, in some way. Depending on the app being used, it will be integrated into the C:Hub Customer Accounts app in different ways. We primarily have 2 different ways in which an app can be integrated that we'll describe below.

Integrations that are 'Available in Menu Builder'

The first type of integration is integrations that add a menu tab to the menu, inside of the menu builder. We'll use the app 'Return Prime' as an example:

From the Integrations tab, we'll type 'return prime' into the search bar. By default, we can see that the integration for return prime is set to 'Off'

We'll click 'Toggle On'

Which will open up a new window to configure any additional settings that may be required. You'll also notice inside of this window, that you can see 'Available in Menu Builder' which let's us know that this is an integration, that will be added to the menu builder. We can now simply click on the toggle to toggle the integration on (you'll notice an 'Advanced' button here as well, we'll go over that in the next step):

And click 'Save'

Once toggled on, the integration will be available to add to the menu, through the menu builder, but isn't added by default. So you'll be presented with a window asking if you'd like to add the integration to the menu, or leave it for later. We'll click 'Add Integration to Menu':

Which will take us to the menu builder inside of the customize tab, and automatically add the 'Return Prime' tab to the menu, and open it to configure any additional settings. By default, you'll see that the 'load page in customer accounts' is toggled on, meaning that our app will load the page directly inside of the customer accounts dashboard:

Once you're happy with all of the settings, simply click on the 'Save' button and the integration will be saved to the menu builder and ready to view on the customer account page.

Once saved, you'll be given the option to 'Login and View My Account' or 'Continue Editing', we'll click on 'Login and View My Account' to view the new menu tab and how it loads:

You'll be able to see the new 'Returns Prime' app that has been added to the menu inside of the customer account page. Clicking on this will load the 'Returns & Exchanges' page, powered by the 'Return Prime' app, directly inside of the dashboard:

What does the 'Advanced' button in the integration do?

When toggling on the 'Return Prime' app integration, you'd have seen the 'Advanced' button next to the toggle. If we click on this one:

You'll see that the 'App Proxy URL:' section is available to edit. This section will show, the default address used for the integration being used. This is available to be edited, if you need to make any changes to it. The reason you'd make any changes to this is if, you've updated the default URL being used, by the app you're integrating. If you've updated the default URL, in the app you're integrating, then this would need to be updated to also use the same URL path.

Integrations that are 'Added to Customer's Orders'

The second type of integration we add on the C:Hub Customer Accounts app, is integrations that add a button, directly to the customers order on the. As an example of how this looks on the customers end, and how to set this up, we'll use the Sufio app as an example. From the Integrations tab, we'll search for the 'Sufio' app. We can see by default that it is set to 'Off'. Click the 'Toggle On' button:

You'll be presented with a window to toggle on the Sufio integration. You'll also see 'Added to Customer's Orders 'No'' which let's us know that this integration has not been toggled on. It also let's us know that this is an integration that adds a button to the customers orders, when it has been toggled on. You'll also notice that there is no 'Advanced' option for integrations that add a button to orders. This is not a setting available for order integration buttons. Click on the toggle, to toggle on the integration:

Click "Save"

And the integration will be enabled.

To view the new button that you've added to your customers orders. Simply log into a customer account, with an active order. You'll be able to see the new button that has been added directly to the order overview and order details page.

Do I need to have the 3rd party app installed to use the integration?\ - Yes, to use an integration, you will need to first install and configure the app you're looking to integrate. We highly recommend testing the app and ensuring it works on your store, before integrating into our app. I'm getting a 404 page when clicking on the integrated menu item, why?\ - A 404 page means, the page the tab is trying to load, doesn't exist. It could mean the 3rd party apps page isn't configured yet, or it's using a different proxy URL. Ensure the correct URL is being used and is configured in the integration.
