Inviting new users to a host entity

This guide explains how Host Entity users can invite new members to their Host Entity account in UVP. You will learn how to locate your Host Entity profile, manage existing user roles, and invite new users. It also covers the automatic emails sent to new users, including their temporary password and login instructions.

Go to UVP

Click on the **Management** tab.

Click on **Host Entities**.

Use filters to search for the host entity you want to view

Click **View** to open the Host Entity’s profile.

Click **Host Entity Users List** to see all existing users.

From here, you can: - **Change roles** for existing users - **Invite a new user** - **Delete a user** from the Host Entity

To add someone new, click **Invite New User**.

Fill in the required details: - Official UN email address - First and last name - Gender - Role to assign - Correspondence language Click **Invite** to send the invitation.

Once submitted, the system will send **two separate emails** to the invited user

One email with their **username and temporary password**

Another email with **instructions on how to log in**
