Accessing Groups

Navigate to [https://training.knowbe4.com/app/dashboard](https://training.knowbe4.com/app/dashboard)

Click "Users"

Click "Groups"

Now you are in the Groups dashboard
Creating a New Group

In the Groups dashboard click "Create New Group"

Enter your desired Group name in the text field

You can ignore the Security Roles drop-down, as we do not utilize those at this time. Click "No options"

If you wish for this to be a Smart Group, click the checkbox to the left of "Make this a Smart Group. \[A Scribe regarding Smart Groups will be made later and linked here.\]

Click "Create Group"

Now you will see your new Group in the Groups Dashboard
Adding Users to A Group

To add users to a group, click "Users"

Select the checkboxes next to the users you wish to add to a group. Click this checkbox.

Click the drop-down to the left of the "Add to Groups" button.
You will notice that groups synced from our Identity Provider (IdP) are not available in this drop-down list. Those groups and their users are managed on our IdP site. If you need to modify users in these groups, please contact your System Administrator.

Select your group from the list.

You may add users to multiple groups at once. In this instance we will only be adding them to the group called "Scribe Group".

Click "Add to Group"

If the action was successful, a green banner will appear at the top to confirm that your changes have been made.
View All Groups for A Single User

There are two ways to view what groups a user is part of. In this image you can see that the groups are listed next to the user in the User list.

Click on a user to open their profile.

Below their name on the top left side, you will see a link called "Groups (#)" # stands in for how many groups they are enrolled in. Click this.

In a pop up, you will see the names of the groups they are a part of.

Click "Close" when you are finished.
View all Users in A Group

The second way is to use the Group view. Click "Groups"

Select the Group that you wish to view

Here you will see a list of users that are assigned to the group you selected.
Archiving Groups

Click the checkbox next to the group you wish to archive.

Click "Archive"

Click "Confirm"
