Logging Into Skyward and Setting Up MFA (Multifactor Authentication)

This tutorial can be used for both Skyward Student and Skyward Finance

In Skyward

Navigate to Skyward and type in Your **username and password**.

Click **"Sign In"**

You will be prompted to set up Multifactor Authentication. This screen asks you to scan the QR Code with the Google Authenticator App - See below for setting up the Authenticator App

On Your Mobile Device

**On your device:** Download the **Google Authenticator** App from your App Store if you have not already

**On your device:** Sign into Google Authenticator with your **district Google Account**

**On your device:** Click **Add a Code**

**On your device:** Click **Scan a QR Code**

**On your device:** Scan the QR code from the Skyward screen by positioning the window over the code shown on the screenshot below.

It will add Skyward and give you a rotating code

Back in Skyward

Type that code in the box.

Click "Save"

The MFA Authentication lasts 24 hours (starting May 5th) **if** you select the box to remember the device. If you don't do that you will be prompted every time you login, not just every 24 hours. The next time you access Skyward, you do not need to go through setup again. You will only need to type the code from Authenticator once prompted.
