Manage AMS Backup Admin Access

Navigate to [https://ams.greenville.k12.sc.us/default.aspx](https://ams-qc.greenville.k12.sc.us/default.aspx)

Click "Staff Role Management".

Click this checkbox to select **'Only Direct Reports'**.

Click "Search".

Click on an employee's number.

If you do not currently have any backup Admins none will be listed at the top.

Select the AMS Backup Admin check box.

Click "Update Access".

The employee should now be listed at the top of the screen as a Backup Admin.
Selecting additional employee to grant AMS Backup Admin

Select additional employee.

Existing Admin Backups will be listed at the top regardless of which employee you select.

Select the AMS Backup Admin check box.

Click "Update Access".

Once you have 2 Backup Admins you should see the message in red at the top.
Removing Backup Admins

Regardless of the employee selected you may remove Backup Admin by using the 'Remove Backup Access' button.

Another way to remove Backup Admin access is unchecking the AMS Backup Admin check box in the Backup Admin's profile.

Click "Update Access".
Warning!

If you try to add to many Backup Admins you will receive this error message. ⚠️**You may only grant Backup Admin access to two employees at a time.** ⚠️
