Managing Role Based Access Privileges For Your School Portal Users (User-Type Level)

This guide shows how to set User-Type Level (group) privileges for users enrolled under the various user types like admin, teacher, student, accountant, admission officer, etc.\ \ Privileges set via this method are inherited by all users enrolled under the respective user types.\ \ There's also a way to set personal account-level privileges for individual users. Navigate to your school portal and sign in as a **Super Admin**

Click the "Admin" menu-group

Click the "Settings" menu

Click to switch to the "User Privileges" tab

(Optionally) Use the "Search" field to find specific tasks/actions performable on the school portal

Type "regist"

To manage/update the access privilege for any task, click the row of that task/action

Use the switch buttons to enable (turn-on) or disable (turn-off) access to that task/action for the various user types that are typically eligible to perform that task.

Click "Done"

You can find and repeat this for as many performable tasks/actions as you want to make access privilege changes to.

**IMPORTANT NOTE:**\ \ After removing or granting access privileges to a user or user category, the new changes take effect on such user account(s) by their next login to the portal.\ \ If a user is actively logged-in before or as at when access privilege changes are being made being made and is unable to perform any tasks/actions just granted, they should sign out of their portal account and sign back in to pick up the updated privileges.
