Managing UCIBuy+ Carts

Users may need multiple carts when purchasing for multiple labs or department teams. This guide helps users identify the active cart, view carts drafted by them or carts that were assigned to them, and other cart management tools.

**READ FIRST:** If issues occur when logging into UCIBuy+, confirm that one of the supported browsers—**Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Mozilla Firefox**—is being used. Ensure employment status with the university is active in UCPath. In the browser settings, allow **pop-ups** and **third-party cookies**. **READ BEFORE MOVING FORWARD**: An active cart refers to the cart that is currently open and being edited by the user. The cart must be active to submit as a requisition.

How to View the Active Cart

Select the **shopping cart** icon in the top right corner of the webpage.

Select **View My Cart**.

View the active cart.

Create a New Cart

Select the **shopping cart** icon in the top right corner of the webpage.

Select **View My Cart**.

Select the **ellipses** in the top right corner of the page.

From the drop-down menu, select **Create New Cart**.

Now, the user has a new empty active cart and can begin shopping.

How to View All Carts

Hover over **Shop**, then **My Cart and Orders** and select **View Carts**.

Select **Draft Carts**, which displays carts that have been saved as drafts by the user.

Select **Assigned Carts**. How to Activate Carts

View the list of draft carts, then locate the desired cart and select **Activate**.
