Managing tasks on RiskBase

This guide offers a straightforward walk-through for efficiently completing tasks in the Riskbase Admin panel, particularly for users managing assets. Please note: Your admin panel may look slightly different depending on how many buildings you have access to and your role/permissions within the system. The procedure for accessing and managing tasks will be the same. Please use the + & - navigation tools on the images to zoom in and out if required.

Riskbase

You may have received a reminder of your tasks via email, follow the link and you will navigate directly to the task panel. This email also lists the total tasks allocated to you and the timescales.

An alternative way to reach the task panel is to navigate to <https://admin.riskbase.uk/>

Click on the ellipses on the right of the ‘University of Edinburgh' tab.

Select tasks from the drop down menu.

There are multiple filters that can be used to navigate tasks. Not all users will have access to everything. Please select remedial action as the task type and select your own name or your group/team to view the tasks that you have been allocated.

Tasks can also be filtered via the search box using: - building number - task reference number e.g., RB-EX3ASI - key words e.g., evacuation chairs

When you have set your task parameters please select 'load tasks' to initiate the search.

To expand the task details double click the building name in blue text. Tasks are filtered by due date, this can be changed to suit user preferences.

Select the download button to create a CSV task report.

Tasks will appear in the lower section of the report. Choose whether the the task is *in progress* or *complete*. Only assessors can cancel tasks. If you have received a task in error, please contact the assessor so that this can be reassigned.

Select close, when the activity is complete.
