Mapping SLOs to PLOs in Nuventive

This guide provides a step-by-step process for effectively mapping Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) to Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs) in Nuventive. By following these instructions, educators can streamline their mapping process, ultimately enhancing curriculum alignment and student success.

Log into[**Nuventive**](https://solutions.nuventive.com/)

If you manage multiple programs, make sure to select the correct program from the top drop-down menu on screen.

Select the three horizontal lines in the top left corner (this icon is often referred to as the hamburger menu)

Select "**SLO ASSESSMENT**" from the menu

Select "**SLO to PLO Mapping**"

Select a course using the drop down menu next to "**Select a Course:**"

PLOs will automatically load on screen. *See next step if they do not appear.*

`If your program is associated with a specific PLO Group, select the drop down menu under "Mapping/Alignment Options"`

To map SLOs to PLOs, click directly on the box in the correct column and row.

Once mapped, the box will change color to green with an "x" in it. After mapping all SLOs, select the "**SAVE**" button in the top right corner.
