Downloading the Zoom App
Alert! All members should [download the Zoom Workplace App ](https://zoom.us/download)prior to their visit.
Joining the Telehealth Visit

**Open the link** to the appointment in your text or email.

Enter full name and click the consent check box. Click next.

- Zoom “Join meeting” window loads. - If you have the Zoom Workplace App, you should **select Join from App**. - There is also option download the app from Google Play or App Store.
- If you are experiencing technical difficulties with the app, you can choose to "Join from you browser". - However, joining through the browser limits some of the experience.
Alert! If using the app for the first time, the following apps will appear while using the app: - “Allow Zoom to take pictures and record video” - Select "Allow only while using the app" - Can also be triggered by touching the camera - “Allow Zoom to record Audio” - Select "Allow only while using the app" - Can also be triggered by unmuting the microphone - “Allow Zoom to find, connect to, and determine the relative position of nearby devices?” - “Allow Zoom to send you Notifications” - “Allow Zoom to make and manage phone calls?”

**Select Join.**

You will be placed into the **waiting room** until the provider admits you to the call.
If you move away from the Zoom Workplace App while in the waiting room, the floating pop-up will show with the message "You are on hold".

The provider or host will admit you to call.
- When you are admitted into the call, you may briefly see this "Ready to get started?" screen before entering the visit in the app. - There's a warning on the screen saying "Did not open Zoom?". - This screen should be ignored.

When finished with the call, select "Leave" to exit the call. Click the "Leave meeting" button to confirm the exit.

Providers may send messages members you while they are in the waiting room. For them to see the message, they need to click the alert or three dots at the top of the screen and click Chat.

- If you leave the Zoom App to take pictures or visit another app, a floating pop-up window will overlay other apps. - NOTE: The floating pop-up option is not available for the browser experience. If you switch to another app, your voice becomes muted/low.

- Swiping the screen to the left will put you into Safe Driving Mode. - Swipe right to go back to the regular visit screen.
