Menu Builder - How to add and update menu tabs

On the mobile / widget version of the customer account page, the menu automatically shift to the top of the page and looks like the below:

So, how do we add and edit menu tabs? First, we head to the C:Hub Customer Accounts app inside of the Shopify admin panel

Build Your Account Menu

Click "Build your Account Menu"

Click "Close"

Add and Edit Custom Links

Click "Custom Link"

Inside of this newly added menu tab, you'll see that you can edit the 'Menu Text' to name the tab anything you'd like. Below that is the 'Link URL' field.\ \ This is where you'll add the link to your custom URL, that could be a link to a youtube video, downloadable price list, special VIP product page, etc. As long as the link contains https:// at the start, it can be used. You can also select the 'Link Target' which is deciding if you'd prefer the link to open in the customers current window, or a new window. By default, it will open in the current window. You also have access to the built in tagging system. You'll see a field with the heading 'Only show to Customer Tagged with:', which allows you to display the menu item, exclusively to customers with matching tags. So for example, if you wanted to show a price list to wholesale customers only, you'd simply make sure the customer has a tag on their account (for example: wholesale), then simply add the same tag to the menu item, press enter and hit save. Once done, that menu item will only be visible to customers with the 'wholesale' tag. Lastly, you have the option to not display the menu item in the mobile / widget version of the customer account. By default, it will be visible, but you can toggle this off if you'd prefer it to be a desktop only menu item.

Add and Edit Shopify and App Pages

As an example, if we added a Shopify Page and Custom menu Link to the Account Menu like in the below:

They will appear in the customer menu on the customer account page, as shown in the below.

Which on Mobile / Widget, will appear in the top menu as shown below

Add and Edit For You Collection Links

Click "Add Collection"

Click the "Collection Name: English" field.

For example, if we added some example collection tabs to the 'For You Collections Links' section of the menu builder as shown below

They will appear in the customer account page, under the 'Your Last Order' as shown below:

Which on Mobile / Widget, will appear below the last order as shown below

Add and Edit For You Mobile / Widget Links

As well as the initial menu builder and the for you collections links. You also have access to the 'Mobile / Widget Links' section. This allows you to add custom link/urls and/or shopify pages, exclusively to the Mobile / Widget for you page. So these custom link/urls and Shopify pages, will only be added to the mobile / widget view. They will not be accessible from the default menu. The Shopify page links, in this section, will not load inside of the customer account page directly and instead will link to the page which will load on its own page.

When added to the For You Mobile / Widget, these links appear down the bottom of the For You page, under the 'My Profile' section, as shown below

Can I embed a youtube video inside of my page and then load that page inside of the customer account? Will the video work? Yes I want to add a form to the menu builder, will the form still submit? Yes Can I add tags to the collections? Or change the mobile / widget visibility? No When I change language, the menu items are blank? This will because no text has been assigned to the menu item. Simply open up the menu tabs inside of the menu builder with the edit button, and you'll see blank fields. Simply assign text to these
