About Page
1
To find the templates, you will need to click into Settings > Notifications & Messages.
2
You will then see a list of the different templates, there are both email and SMS options to edit. The templates include: - Appointment Reminders - Payment Requests - Invoice Messages - Automatic Payment Invites - Message Customers - Price Changes - Booking Confirmations
3
To edit these, click into the template you want to change, you can then start typing what you would like to include within the message and use any of the tokens needed to format the message.
The tokens are in **\[squareBrackets\]** and are case sensitive (i.e. if there is a ***capital*** ***letter*** included it's important that it is typed exactly as it is listed so the token works - you may wish to copy and paste these directly into the message).
4
The SMS messages will be plain text when sent to the customer.
5
You will see an approximation for how many credits will be used (this is only approximate since the service list could include anything from one to seven services, for example). Once you are happy with the message, click 'Save'.
6
For the email version of the message you can add some more detail.
7
As shown by the tokens you can include features such as your business logo. You can also add pictures and edit the style of the text (e.g. **Bold** or *Italic* text).
8
Then click 'Save'.
9
The message templates will then be sent when using different messaging features on Squeegee, so for example, when sending bulk appointment reminders from the work planner, it will use the 'Appointment Reminder Template' as the message.
10
Here you can see what the message will include (based on your template) and preview how the customer will see it.
