Navigate to [https://nmu.curriculog.com/proposal](https://nmu.curriculog.com/proposal)

Click "New Proposal"

Either look through all proposals or filter by Courses (Click "Courses")

Find the correct proposal and Click "Start Proposal"

On the left will be the steps to create, on the right, you will be able to review the approval steps.

We recommend you click "Close Toolbox" for a better view

Required information is indicated by a " \* ". Since this is a new course, no information will be pre-populated.

If you are using the drop down menu for "Course Type" or "Prefix" and you would like to create a new option, you must first submit a "New Subject Prefix or Course Type" form. This can be found in the "Others" filter of the proposal search.

If the Registrar has not approved your number. Use the link to the Google Form to submit a request. You can continue filling out the rest of the proposal while you wait to hear back from the Registrar's office. We recommend that you do not submit until you can select "yes".

Many parts of the form will have "Help Text" to clarify the request or offer suggestions.

There are multiple requests for attachments. Follow the next few steps to see how to attach documents.

Click "Files"

Click the "File" field. A new pop-up window will appear, where you will be able to select a file from your computer.

Click "Upload"

If successful, you will see it in the "Attached Files Section". You can attach multiple files this way. Once you are done, you can Click "Close Toolbox".

To save your work and return to the proposal later, click "Save All Changes

To submit your proposal, click "Validate and Launch Proposal."
If the validation is unsuccessful, it is likely you missed a required " \* " section. Please review, complete and re-validate.
Once your proposal successfully validates, it will move to the next step. The next reviewer will be notified. The proposal will either advance through the process or be returned to you with a notification.
