Creating a Personal Account

Navigate to [https://www.facebook.com/](https://www.facebook.com/)

Click "Create new account"

Enter relevant info.

If we do not know the birthday when creating a new account, use "June 5th, 1995" as the birthday.

Click "Sign Up"

Click "No, create new account"

Find the confirmation code in the email (check spam if you do not see it in the inbox) and enter the code here.

Click "Continue"

Now we are going to fill in the profile information for the account. Navigate to the profile page by clicking on the profile icon.

Click on your profile.

Click "Edit Profile".

First, add the Profile Photo. To do this, click "Add"

Upload the photo you will be using for your profile photo.

Click "Save"

Now, let's add the cover photo. Click "Add cover photo"

Upload the cover photo you will be using.

Click "Save changes"

Next, let's add the bio. Click "Add bio"

Paste (or type) in the bio that you will be using for your "bio". Click "Save".

Lastly, we will add the details. Click "Edit Details".

Click "Add a workplace"

Enter the company name.

Enter the position and select the one that best matches it.

Enter the city/town in which the business is located.

Enter the 'Description' of the company, select "I currently work here", and select the correct year (do not add the month).

Click "Save"

Click 'No'. Do not share the info to the News Feed.

Lastly, we will fill in the "Contact and basic info" section.

Click "Add a website" here.

Enter the website URL and click "Save"

Now we will add all of the social links (i.e. Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).

When you are adding the social links, be sure to select the correct Social Media platform you are adding. In this example, we added a Twitter profile link, therefore we need to select "Twitter" in the dropdown.

Add all of the social links that are available.

Click "Save" and you're done with creating the personal account 🤙
Now, we must create a Facebook Page to link to the personal account.

Navigate the Facebook Home.

Click "See more" to view more options on the side panel.

Click "Pages"

Click "Create new Page"

Fill in the relevant information.

Finish setting up the Page by entering the relevant information.
Be sure to put the Hours Open as 'Always Open'
