Numbering Items
There are two ways to number items.

When numbering items it's our best practice to start at 100 or above to utilize Clickbids auto indexing of item numbers. When selecting a starting item number series, the auto indexing will index from the lowest number greater than 100. The use of items below 100 is acceptable but auto indexing will not occur and will need to be manually entered.

Click "Download a Template" at the bottom of the page.

Item Template **You can organize your items by Category or in Numerical order via an Item Spreadsheet.** Group the items in hundreds according to category. Let's say you have 5 items for your electronics category, 4 items for your Beauty Category, and 2 Items for your Trips category, here is what this should look like:
The above allows an organization to get started with their item import without worrying about adding an item down the road. They can simply add it to the end of their numbering for that group. "Oh snap, we got another Apple Watch!" No problem, just add it to the end of the electronics numbering, in this case, it would be item 105.
Save template as a CSV UTF 8 for a more successful upload.

To organize your items further on the landing page and bidding site, Click "Items"

Click "Categories and Ordering"

Click "Sort Order" to choose how you want the items displayed.

Make sure to enter in a sort order if you are sorting by category first.
If some of the items do not have a category assigned on the "Manage Items" page, they will automatically display first on the Landing Page and Bidding Site.

Click the item number you want to change.
- Item numbers can not be changed if the item has bids. - You can only use numbers that are not already in use.

Enter the new item number then "Update Item"

Select your items you would like to re-number by using the check box to the left of the item name. You can select all items, or a specific group of them to re-number.
Updates the item numbers to the first available number starting with the one provided.
