Omnia Admin: Devices

This guide shows you how to manage devices within the Omnia Admin Portal. It explains how to view, manage, perform bulk actions, and take various device actions. It also covers the process of creating and configuring new devices.

Accessing Devices

**Navigate to Devices:** - Go to the [**Admin Portal**](https://app.voxo.co/dashboard) and sign in. - Click the **Phone System** tab to expand it, then select **Devices**.

Viewing and Managing Devices

**Devices List**: - Navigate to the **Devices** section to view a list of all devices. The list includes details such as **Name**, **Model**, **MAC Address**, and **User Agent**.

**Device Count**: - **Total:** Displays the total number of devices. - **Online:** Shows the number of devices that are currently online. - **Offline:** Indicates the number of devices that are currently offline.

**Status Indicators**: Devices with a **green** icon are online, and those with a **red** icon are offline.

**Search**: - Use the **Search** bar to quickly find specific devices by typing the name or a keyword. - **Sort**: Click the sort icons next to column headers to arrange items in ascending or descending order.

**Export Button**: - Click the **Export** button to download a list of the devices in CSV format.

**Add Device**: - Click the **Add Device** button and select **Add New** to create a new device or **Bulk Add** to add multiple devices.

**Bulk Actions**: - Use the **Bulk** button to access options such as **Settings** and **Reboot** for multiple devices.

Updating Settings in Bulk

**Update Settings in Bulk:** - Click **Bulk,** then **Settings** to update settings for multiple devices. - In the **Update Devices** window, click on the **Phone model** dropdown menu and select the desired phone model (e.g., Yealink). - **Adjust Config Field (if applicable):** Depending on the selected phone model, additional configuration fields may appear. Adjust the **Config Field** settings as needed. - **Assign Phone Button Layout:** click on the [**Button Layout**](https://scribehow.com/shared/Omnia_Admin_Button_Layouts__W8geUAGCQianzXdm7ozfQg?referrer=documents) dropdown menu and select the desired button layout. - Click **Update**, then **Yes** to proceed or **Cancel** to discard the action. - You will receive a prompt asking, "Reboot all devices?" Click **Yes** to reboot the devices to push the updates, or **No** to update at a later time.

**Bulk Reboot Devices:** - Click **Bulk** then **Reboot** to reboot multiple devices. - In the **Bulk Device reboot** window, use the dropdown to select the specific phone model. - Click **Confirm** to proceed or **Cancel** to discard the action.

Device Actions

**Download Configuration**: - Click the **Download Local Config** button to download the configuration file for the device.

**Duplicate Device**: - Click the **Duplicate** button to clone an existing device. - In the **Duplicate a device** window, enter the new device name and MAC address. - Click **Duplicate** to create the cloned device or **Cancel** to discard the action.

**Edit Device**: - Click the edit icon (pencil) next to the device you want to edit, or click directly on the device. - Make your edits. - Click **Save**. You will receive a prompt asking, "Reboot device after saving?" - Click **Yes** to reboot the device to push the updates, or **No** to update at a later time.

**Delete Local Config**: - Click the **Delete Local Config** button to remove the local configuration of the device.

**Factory Reset**: - Click the **Factory Reset** button to reset the device to its factory settings.

**Delete Device**: - Click the **Delete** button to remove the device.

Creating and Configuring a New Device

**Create Device**: - Click **Add Device** and select **Add New** to open the device creation form.

**Enter Device Details**: - **Enter name**: Specify the name for the new device. - **Enter MAC address**: Input the MAC address for the device. - **Select phone model**: Choose the appropriate phone model from the dropdown list.

**Assign Extensions**: - In the **Assign extensions** section, select the [**extension**](https://scribehow.com/shared/Omnia_Admin_Extensions__-L9BuyfORwK9dnYrMhXwQg?referrer=documents) for the line. - Click **Add Line** to add more lines to the device.

**Assign Phonebooks**: - Use the dropdown menu to assign [**phonebooks**](https://scribehow.com/shared/Omnia_Admin_Phone_Books__GoMpVuHLSFGqIrfMQNiPuQ?referrer=documents) to the device.

**Assign Phone Button Layouts**: - Select the [**button layouts**](https://scribehow.com/shared/Omnia_Admin_Button_Layouts__W8geUAGCQianzXdm7ozfQg?referrer=documents) for the phone. - Overrides key settings in the configuration tab.

**Assign Sidecar Button Layouts**: - For devices with sidecars, assign the button layouts for the sidecar. - Applicable only for Yealink devices.

Additional Configuration Options

**Settings**: - Based on the **Phone Model** selected, additional configuration options may become available. These settings vary between different models and brands of devices. - For example, Yealink devices provide **Settings** and **Key Settings** tabs, where you can configure detailed options such as Local Port, Video Support, Softkey Labels, and VLAN settings. - Other models, such as Algo, may not offer these additional configuration options. - Be sure to explore the tabs available for the specific device model selected to complete the necessary configurations.

Bulk Add Devices

**Bulk Add Devices**: - Click the **Add Device** button. - Choose **Bulk Add** from the dropdown menu.

**Import from csv**: - Hover over **Import from csv** and click **Download example csv** to get a template. Complete the template, save it, and click **Import from csv** to upload the spreadsheet.

**Map CSV Columns:** - Match each CSV column to the corresponding field (**Name, MAC, Phone Model, Line 1 Ext, Phonebook).** - All listed fields must be selected to continue. - Click **Reset** to remove the CSV and reupload if needed. - Click the **Add** button to complete the bulk upload. - Added entries will appear in the list below.

**Remove an Entry:** - If you need to remove a device entry from the list after selecting add, clicking **Remove** (-) will remove a device entry before saving.

**Save the Devices**: - Click **Create.** - Click **Yes** to confirm and save.
