Onboarding an Alpha Psi Omega or Delta Psi Omega chapter in GreekTrack

Navigate to [https://www.alphapsiomega.org/](https://www.alphapsiomega.org/)

Click "Login"

Enter your login information and click login.

Click on the Setup Wizard to enter key information about your chapter.

Click "Personalize your profile and add your contact information."

Fill out all the information you can on your personal profile. You can list your affiliations (where you an APO member of a different chapter perhaps) and contact information.

When finished, click Update Profile.

Return to the Setup Wizard.

Click Set your timezone

Select the correct timezone to update your account.

Return to the Setup Wizard.

Click "Set your term dates." This is an important step in determining factors related to inductions.

Enter in the appropriate dates for either your semester or quarter based system and click "Update Term Dates."

Return to the Setup Wizard.

Click "Complete your alpha psi omega chapter's profile."

Enter all the appropriate contact information and click "Update."

Return to the Setup Wizard.

Under "Define your account types," its best for you to click "skip this step." There should be no reason a chapter needs to create additional account types as this can cause errors in the system.

If your chapter has meeting or service event attendance requirements that you wish to track in the system, you can click "Define your alpha psi omega chapter's requirements" and complete the information on the subsequent screens. Otherwise, you can "skip this step." The national office does not set standards here so this would only be used internally for your chapter. Keep in mind, these "requirements" would never effect national membership in the organization.

Return to the Setup Wizard.

If you wish to "Define achievements" (such as attending a certain number of events or earning a certain number of membership points - if your chapter uses such things - you can click here and fill out the subsequent screen. Otherwise, click "Skip this step."

If you wish to "Define your alpha psi omega chapter awards" you can click here and fill out the subsequent screen. Otherwise, click "Skip this step."

If you wish to "Customize your public homepage" you can click this step. It will open a whole host of settings to customize the look of your chapter's blog. You do this now, or return to it later (if you wish to maintain a chapter website) by clicking "skip this step". These options will take some time and tweaking to get the way you want them so its best to dedicate specific time to this step rather than do it as part of the onboarding process.

To define your chapters's specific officer positions, click "Define your officer positions."

The nationally required positions are pre-set but you can add additional officer roles if you so choose.

Simply enter the title of the position, choose a role to base their permissions on, and click "Add Position."

You will now be taken to a page where you can customize their officer access. Choose the options that best suite the role you've added and click "Update Privileges."

Return to the Setup Wizard.

This next step is crucial to ensure that your officers have the correct permissions in our system and also receive the appropriate communications from the national office. Click "Determine which members hold which officer positions."

Click on each of the required Officer positions and type the name of the appropriate officer. If they have an account in our system already, the field should populate. If not, you'll need to add them and provide an email address so they can confirm their account. Once all your officer positions are completed, click "Update Officers and Send Activation Emails."

Feel free to skip Instruct officers to create events, you can always add any events at a later time.

The above steps complete the chapter onboarding process. If you'd like to start a new invitation group (to induct new members) you can also do that at this time. That will be covered in a separate video.
