OneDrive for Mac: Folder Protection

Click on the OneDrive icon in the menu bar

Click the Settings gear then **Preferences** from the drop down

Click **Backup**

Click **Manage Backup**

If prompted, click **System Preferences** to grant OneDrive disk permissions\ Note: If you do not receive this pop-up, proceed to step 10

Slide the toggle next to OneDrive

If prompted, enter your computer password

Click **Quit & Reopen**.

Repeat steps 1 - 4 to open the Manage Backup settings.

Slide the toggles next to Desktop and Documents

Click **Save Changes**
