Navigate To [Business.google.com](https://Business.google.com) \ \ Or Follow Step 2

You Must Be Logged Into Your Google Account That Manages The Google Business Profile \ \ Click The Square Dots In Top Right Corner

Select Business Profile Manager

Select Business You Want To Optimize

Select Client From Dropdown

Click On Profile To Open Admin View

Click "Edit profile"

If Website Needs Edited - Click The Pencil \ \ **Note** Any changes to website should also be updated on citations for optimal SEO performance.

Check Business Location and Confirm Address. \ \ **Note** NEVER change the first part of a business address. This will cause a re-verification from Google and could take weeks or even sometimes months.

Edit Services - Where we will ensure keywords are added from maps platform.

Click Edit To Add Keywords

Add Custom Service

Add Targeted Keyword \ \ **First Letter Of First Word Is Always Capitalized** \ \*\* Example: Insurance agency\ never capitalize any other letters

Click Save Once All Keywords Are Added

Verify Correct Phone Number

Verify Correct Address

Go Back Into The Maps Platform and Click The Three Dots On The Campaign Tab

Click Re-Scan To Scan The Changes In The Google Business Profile

Once Scan Has Finished Ensure Changes Were Updated \ \ Your Keywords You Entered Under "Services" Should Populate Here

Ensure Changes Are Complete. It's hard to get 100%. The Main Ones We Really Focus On Are:\ - Address \ - Keyword Formatting \ - URL
