Click "Course Approvals"

Click "Access the Course Approval Database"

International Course Equivalencies

The International Course Equivalencies tab is where you find the complete list of "Pending" and "Active" courses. Pending courses are still working through the approval process.

My Pending Courses

"My Pending Courses" are courses that you entered to have reviewed and approved. Once a course is approved the status changes to active and the course will appear on the "My Reviewed Courses" tab.

My Reviewed Courses

"My Reviewed Courses" are courses you entered for approval as well as courses you have added from the International Course Equivalencies by clicking on the View/Add button.

My Registered Courses

"My Registered Courses" are courses that you actually register in once you start your education abroad program. You will add courses from "My Reviewed Courses" to "My Registered Courses" by clicking on the Add/Remove button.

Search Function

There are several ways you can search for courses. Partner university and program names are not identical to the names in MyStudyAbroad. Try searching different parts of the partner or provider name and always click "Reset" before starting a new search! You can also search by country, keyword, title, or subject.

"Transfer As" is how a course is approved for all students. "Meets Requirements For" is how a course counts toward degree requirements for students in specific majors/minors.

Meets Requirements For filter

You can only see "Meets Requirements For" information for the college you are enrolled in. Example: If you are enrolled in the College of Media, you will not see "Meets Requirements For" information that is specific to students enrolled in Gies Business. If you have a double major in the College of Media and Gies Business and are currently enrolled in the College of Media, you can choose "Gies Business" from the drop-down list in the "Meets Requirements For" field to see how courses complete degree requirements for your major in Gies Business.
