Click "Edit" on the page or post you'd like to password protect

In the Page settings click "Public" next to visibility to change the visibility

Select "Password protected"

Type your password into the field

Click the [[Update]] button
View Protected Page or Post

Open a private or incognito window in your browser so you can view your site as a visitor that is not logged in. You should see a message that the content is protected and a form to enter a password. Enter your password.

Click [[Enter]]

You will now see the content of your page or post
