The patient will either select the 'Book Appointment' button or view a practitioner and select an available time:

Define who the booking is for and select 'Existing Patient'.
If a brand **new patient to your practice** attempts to book as an **existing patient** during the booking flow, their request will go to your Sidebar for manual review.

Select an Appointment Type

Click "Yes, seen in the last 12 months"

Click "Yes, book" to confirm the request.

HotDoc will take a few seconds to run a check on your Best Practice Software. If successful, the appointment will automatically be approved.
