The patient will either select the 'Book Appointment' button or view a practitioner and select an available time:

Define who the booking is for and select 'Existing Patient'.

Select an Appointment Type

Click "Yes, seen in the last 12 months"

Click "Yes, book" to confirm the request.

HotDoc will take a few seconds to run a check on your Best Practice Software.\ If unsuccessful, the patient will be shown this message.

Shortly after, they will receive an email to state their appointment has not been accepted.
