Posting transactions from the Purchase Import Register in Thrive Accounts

Navigate to <https://app.thriveaccounts.com/> and open the Purchases module.

Click "Purchases Import Register"

Here you will find all purchase transactions that were synced to the register. It acts as a holding area until you post them. Thrive will sync purchase transactions from any integration you have enabled for your company, such as Trax.

On the left of the list you’ll find your imported transactions, with a reference number for the import register, the account the transaction is under, the external ID and source - in this case the TRAX integration.

On the right you’ll find the date, period, transaction type, status of the transaction and the total.

The status indicates whether a transaction is ready for posting. "Ready" means there’s no issues detected by the system, whereas "Hold" means there is one or more issues.

You can edit a transaction that is on hold by clicking the reference number.

Click these checkboxes to select transactions for posting.

Then click "POST".

You will be asked if you wish to change the period - use the "Period" field if you wish to do so.

Once ready, click "POST".

You will be notified once the transactions have been posted.

this will create your transaction in the relevant transaction list - for this example we now see it in the purchase invoice list.
