PowerSchool Access- Resetting a Student Password

Locate and select the student whose password you want to reset.

From the left-hand menu, navigate to **Student Profile**.

Select **Guardian and Student Account Access**.

Ensure the **Student Access Account** checkbox remains enabled to allow the student to log in to PowerSchool.

Beside Student Username you will see the populated field. This is the login username they need to properly access the account.

To change the student's password, clear the existing field and generate a temporary login for the student.
After logging in, the student will be prompted to set a personal password. As a PowerSchool Admin, you won't be able to view the student's password, but you will have the ability to reset it if necessary.

Click **Submit** to save any changes made to the student account access.
