ProDeploy Client Suite

Deploy with greater speed, less effort and more flexibility for an exceptional end-user experience by configuring system build and installation requirements from your dashboard in TechDirect.

Our ProDeploy Client Suite offers a range of services that help you deploy PCs with greater speed and less effort. A key feature of this offer is TechDirect, a self-service portal where you can: - Specify how you want your devices to be configured in the factory and deployed. - Track the status of your orders anywhere in the order process, from shipment to installation. - Reuse saved service details, so your next orders start faster. The following sections will walk you through how to access ProDeploy in TechDirect, provide your service requirements, and more. **You will find useful information whether you are a customer or a Dell partner.**

To access ProDeploy Client Suite, select the "Build & Deploy" tab in your left navigation. Select the "ProDeploy Client Suite" tile to begin.

If this is your first time logging into TechDirect or ProDeploy, you will need to create an account first. When you reach the **Company Information** step, your answer to the **I am conducting business** question determines if your account will be setup as a Dell Partner or not. Select **For my company** if you make Dell purchases for your own company's direct use. Select **As a service on behalf of a client** if you are a Dell Partner who makes purchases on behalf of other customers.

Welcome to your **ProDeploy Client Suite** dashboard. If you've placed a new order, you will see it called out in the blue banner. From this page, you can also customize and track order status from your Manage Orders tile or explore service options by creating a sample order. If you are managing on behalf of a client, you would see a "Select Account" option above these tiles to select the appropriate company you would like to access. Click on "Get Started" to finalize the build and service details for your orders or simply click "Go" in Manage orders to review your dashboard.

If you are a Dell partner or End customer who places orders through a Dell partner, first use the **Select account** menu to pick your customer or partner by name, or select **My company** to view any orders you have placed directly with Dell. Once you have selected an account, select the **Manage orders** card as described.

If you are a Dell Technologies **partne**r, you can set up an end customer and assign orders to your customers. The access levels for ProDeploy Client are: - **No access**: Select this option if you want to complete ProDeploy Client Suite activities in TechDirect for your customer's orders and do not want your customer to have access to the orders in TechDirect. - **Read-only**: Select this option if you want to complete ProDeploy Client Suite activities in TechDirect for your customer's orders and want your customer to be able to view their orders. - **Full access**: Select this option if you want your customer to complete ProDeploy Client Suite activities in TechDirect.

For this experience, feel free to navigate around the dashboard. You can add or modify build and deploy details to orders, sign export compliances, create custom asset or box labels and more. As this is a simulator, if you get stuck, simply navigate back to the main dashboard.

Review your standard export form. For this experience, we will agree to the terms.

Once you have completed your steps, you will see a yellow bar to "review and submit". Let's click there.

You will be brought to your build summary page. Review that every thing is correct.

Agree to the terms and submit.

Once you have completed your service details, you will see your complete build summary outlined, including firmware, asset reports, asset tags, shipping labels, imaging, provisioning and configuration selections. This "request a quote" form only populates when creating a sample order. Since this is a simulated experience, please feel free to review, but exit this frame.

Once you "exit" you will return to the order dashboard. You will see this order listed as the first one "quote requested".

Let's now click into an order that needs to "resume" build details.

Feel free to review the details of this build. You will notice the only step remaining is to "review and submit". Click "review and submit" once you've explored the page and reviewed the build details.

Review your build details and agree to the terms. You can download your deployment summary and/or assign signatory roles.

Once you agree to the terms and submit, the "request a quote" pop-up will appear. Fill out the prompts.

Feel free to view the "request a quote" form, but remember this would only appear when creating a sample order.

You will be returned back to your main orders page. You can customize orders throughout your build process. Next, let's "resume" our order that needs deploy details.

These orders need deploy service inputs and have not yet been submitted to Dell. Fill in the missing information for your order. Then you will notice the green check mark that the missing items have been completed and you can "review and submit" your order. You will return to the order page.

Create a Sample Order

Now, let's create a new sample order. Click "Add sample order".

Let's select "ProDeploy Plus" and then "continue".

Select the country or region and continue.

Now you can select your system and the quantity.

You can also choose to add other systems.

Then, you can select your add-ons such as on-site installation, asset recovery and/or data erase. - **On-site PC installation** provides certified professional unboxing and setup support where you need it. It is an upgrade to our standard remote service. - **Asset Recovery** helps you recycle or resell your old equipment while keeping your data secure. - **Data Erase** helps you to safely and securely sanitize your devices. "Create" your sample order.

You will return to your order page and see your new sample order listed first. To complete the build details, let's drill in.

To finish our build, let's click "start" to walk through the prompts.

You can opt to use the same details as a previous order or customize this experience. Let's select a few, like system asset label, so we can walk through that customization a little later.

Let's also select system BIOS/UEFI and Imaging and Provisioning. Click "Next".

For our firmware settings like boot sequence and power management, let's choose to keep the optimized default settings.

For this sample order experience, let's choose an existing label to continue.

We can opt to reuse an export compliance from a valid previous order or complete the required form.

You can review the details of the terms, save and next.

You can load a custom, clean image or reuse a system image from a previous order. Save and Next.

You can opt to review the system online before your order ships or skip this service. Save and Next.

Once you complete the required steps, you can review and submit your order for a quote.

Custom Asset Label

Here is a quick walk-through of how you can customize your asset and shipping labels.

We will use a newly created sample order. Click "start".

As we selected earlier, to use the previous order details, we are going to unselect that option.

Let's select "system asset label" and "ship box label" to customize them.

Click "Next".

Select the option "I want a new system label."

We are going to customize this label to our business needs. You have the option to choose the size and template and then populate it with the dynamic data of you choosing. Feel free to explore the options available to you and then choose your placement.

After you choose your placement, select "save and next."

Now we can customize a label for your shipping box to let the receiver know key details of the assets. We will explore the dynamic data available shortly. Select "I want a ship box label" to complete the steps.

Select "Create New". You can name your label for ease of use on future orders.

Now please browse through the available dynamic data available for your custom label. Once you've customized your label, save and next.

Once you've saved your customizations, you are ready to review and submit your order for a quote. Congratulations! You have completed our ProDeploy Client Suite demo experience.
