Purchasing Commencement Photos

This guide provides instructions on how to successfully view, purchase, and download images from Villanova Commencement Events.

Images from Commencement events will be available for purchase beginning Friday, May 21st and remain available through August 1st. It is not required to create an account. Photos must be added to cart and purchased before a download link is sent– the download button is for Villanova communications personnel only.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Navigate to [https://villanova.photoshelter.com/](https://villanova.photoshelter.com/index)

Navigate to the 'Commencement Events' gallery.

You will not need an account to view these images! There is no need to log in.

Commencement events from 2026 will be available in alphabetical folders.

Select any event to open the folder.

Click on any image to view it in full-screen mode.

Do NOT click the download button. A download link for images will be sent once your purchase is completed. Clicking the download button will prompt you to log in or enter a password. You do not need an account to purchase images. Direct image downloads are restricted to communications personnel for the university.

In full-screen mode, click the 'Add to Cart' button.

Select 'Personal Use Download' and click 'Continue.'

Select the size of download and click 'add to cart.'

If you are not finished selecting your images, click 'Continue Shopping.'

When you are ready to purchase your images, click 'Check Out.'

You will not need to create an account to complete a purchase.

Click 'Continue' under Guest Checkout.

Follow the instructions and enter payment information to complete your purchase. You will then receive a link to download your purchased images.

Common Issues

**ISSUE**: I can't download photos. A prompt came up asking me to log in.

**SOLUTION**: You must purchase images before being sent a link to download. Downloading is limited to Villanova communications personnel. You do not need to create an account to purchase images. **ISSUE**: I added images to a cart, but now I can't find them.

**SOLUTION**: Click the 'Cart' button in the top navigation bar.

**ISSUE**: I can't find my photos from crossing the stage.

**SOLUTION**: Portraits, photos of stage crossings, and reception photos are available through ProPics at [villanovaphotos.com](https://propicsgrads.com/villanova/)

**ISSUE**: I know a photographer took a photo of me and my family, but I can't find it!

**SOLUTION**: Any images featuring minors will not be made publicly viewable to protect privacy. Please email [photography@villanova.edu](mailto:photography@villanova.edu) and we will see if we can help identify your image.
