Quick Setup for TBC User Interface

This guide offers a streamlined approach to setting up the TBC User Interface, making it easier for users to customize their workspace efficiently. Right click on ANY Ribbon Tab on the top bar in TBC.

Click **Customize the Ribbon...** on the context menu.

In the Customize the Ribbon menu you will see every single command in TBC software on the left. We will ignore that portion and continue on the right-portion of window "Customize Ribbon". Each Category in the list corresponds to a Tab on the Ribbon at top of the window.

Scroll down and Click the **Eyeball Icon** over Photogrammetry. You have now turned off the Visibility of this tab on the ribbon. **Note: Clicking the X-icon (to right of Eyeball) will DELETE this tab on the ribbon permanently. If this is done by mistake - you can click the RESET button at any time to reset the Ribbon to Default.**

Click the **Eyeball** **icon** on any other ribbon tabs you will not need in your day-to-day workflows. Repeat the above step for any other items you may not need in your day-to-day workflows. These tabs may include: **Tunnels, Mines, Monitoring, Site & Corridor Mass Haul**

Click **OK** to apply the changes. ***NOTE* - IF YOU DO NOT CLICK OK, THE CHANGES WILL NOT BE APPLIED!**

Editing the Quick Access Toolbar - Location and Size

Right click anywhere on the **Quick Access Toolbar** at very top of screen.

Click **Show Quick Access Toolbar Below the Ribbon** option in the context menu. This will move the toolbar BELOW the main command ribbon.

Now that we have moved the location of the Quick Access Toolbar on-screen, we will now increase the size of the Icons on it. Click on the **Support** Tab.

Click **Options** command icon.

FYI: In TBC the OPTIONS menu has different settings that apply GLOBALLY to the software (cursor size, graphics, file save locations, etc). These differ from the PROJECT SETTINGS in which are only applied to the current Project that is open (Coordinate System, Distance/Angle Units, Surface Build Methods, etc).

In the Options // Display menu, click **Use large icons for Quick Access toolbar**.

Click **OK** to Apply your changes.

Now we will increase the Pick Aperture (cursor) size. Navigate to **Support Tab**, then click **Options** command again.

Increase the **Pick Aperture Pixels to 10+** for a larger sized picker on-screen. In the Green Box - you can change the colors for interacting and navigating TBC interface. If you are having issues seeing the blue/purple Picker-Color, this can be changed with the Cursor Color.

Click **OK.**

Now the Pick Aperture (Box) reflects the larger size on the screen.
