Quoting: Profit Matrix by County/Crop

This guide provides a step-by-step process for accessing and utilizing the Profit Matrix tool within AgriNet, enabling users to effectively analyze and compare insurance coverage options for specific crops and counties. By following the outlined steps, users can input relevant data, assess expenses, and generate comprehensive quotes, making informed decisions about their operations insurance needs.

Agrisompo

Navigate to [AgriNet ](https://agrinet.agrisompo.com/policy)and sign in using the Duo push process.

Start by selecting the correct crop year to work in.

Click the "Search Insured or Policy" field and search by insured name or policy number.

Click the estimate/policy number from the Insured's column.

Click the "county-commodity" from the Insured column.

Click the "Quoting" icon from the blue bar in the upper right hand corner.

Switch to Quoting Browser window

Switch to the newly opened tab, "Quoting" browser window.

Click the estimate/policy number from the Insured's column.

Click the "county-commodity" from the Insured column.

Click the "More" tab from the top of the window to expand the drop-down list.

NOTE: The Profit Matrix will only be visible from the county-crop view under an estimate/policy. This can only be ran for one county-crop at a time.

Click "Profit Matrix" from the drop-down list.

Acreage Tab

The available "Lines" will be defaulted to checked, and the acres that are reflected in AgriNet on the estimate/policy will populate. NOTE: If no acres are showing in AgriNet, the acres will show "0.00". Key desired acres at this time before moving forward.

Expenses Tab

Click the "Expenses" tab from the top center of the screen.

If a list of detailed expenses is available, they can be keyed on this screen. Note additional boxes at the bottom of the screen by scrolling downward. Note: If a detailed list of expenses is not available, a "Total Expenses" amount can be keyed on the next screen. Leave this screen blank.

Click on any of the yellow "Question Marks" to get a brief summary of the information expected to be keyed in the corresponding box.

Scroll to the bottom of the "Expenses" tab to key "Land Use Cost" and any "Cash Sales" to be factored in to the Matrix. "Cash Sales" is also another term for Contracts. Note: There is only one line available for "Cash Sales". If you have multiple, total them together to key in the boxes provided.

Coverages Tab

Click the "Coverages" tab.

The "Projected Price", and "Volatility" will auto-populate from the information provided by the RMA. Click the "Expense Amount" field, to key an expenses total.

Select the "Insurance Plan" drop-down box, and select an Insurance Plan.

Select "Coverage Level" and "Unit Structure" to make any desired changes from the drop-down list provided.

To add a supplemental coverage, click "Add Supplemental"

Select the desired option from the "Type" drop-down list and the desired options from the "Loss Trigger" and "Protection Factor" drop-drown list.

Click the "Add Coverage" button to add additional coverage to compare to.

Select the desired options, repeating the steps above.

Repeat the steps as many times as desired. Up to five coverage options can be added and quoted at one time.

Once all desired coverage options have been added, click "Quote".

Click two "Check boxes" to compare coverages on the screen.

Once two coverage have been slelected, click the "Compare" button from the upper right hand corner.

To change coverage to compare, select the drop-down box to see coverages that were elected from the previous screen.

View the information on the screen to compare coverage options.

To change the "Header" information, click the desired field and key the desired informaiton, then click the "Update" button.

NOTE: The Header information has now changed to the new updated header information.

Click the "Close" button from the upper right hand corner of the pop-out screen.

Printing a .PDF version of the Profit Matrix

Click "Print"

Once the Quote has generated, click the green "Download .pdf" button.

A pdf version will download to the browser. This can be emailed, printed, and/or saved for future use.
