Go to any visit

Click "Visit details"

You will see the protocol version name of the protocol the visit is currently based on

Go to the protocol of the trial to edit the given visit

Click the active version of the protocol

Click "Edit as draft"

Click "Details"

Enter a new protocol version name

Click "Save"

Edit the visit

Click "Publish"

As you are editing a visit that is already booked, you will see a communication about impact of this change on existing visits. Click "Confirm"

Get back to the same visit

Click "Visit details"

You will see that the protocol version name of the visit was updated to the new one and the whole visit was updated to changes made in protocol
