Register a Rider and Pay Fees on the Pit Zone

You will receive in invitation from [donotreply@nationalmtb.org](mailto:donotreply@nationalmtb.org) via email with the subject line "Invitation to the NICA Pit Zone". Open the email and click the button that says "register your rider"

You will be prompted to create an account in the Pit Zone if you do not already have one. Once the account is created, log in and locate the "riders" section on the first page. If you already have an account, log in. Click the button that says "begin rider registration"

Complete all required fields in the account details section. This is the parent information.

Next, click "Rider information" in the bottom right corner to move on to the next section

Click "family contacts" in the bottom right corner to move on to the next section and complete all required fields on that page

Click "Emergency contacts" in the bottom right corner to move on to the next section and complete all required fields on that page

Click "Health information" in the bottom right corner to move on to the next section

Complete all required fields on the health information page

Read the information on this page, and click the "My child is in good physical and mental health and is able to participate fully in all NICA/League events.\*"

Select the options that apply. If your rider has medical conditions or allergies, add them to the correct field. Also check the related boxes if your child has an inhaler, takes prescription medication, and if you agree to allowing NICA/League staff can administer ibuprofen in the event that it is needed (this is optional)

Click "releases" in the bottom right corner to move on to the next section

Click the "I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and fully agree to the terms of this Agreement as described above. *" field.

Click "Code of Conduct" in the bottom right corner to move on to the next section and complete all required fields on that page

Review the code of conduct with your rider, and then click to acknowledge that you have done so.

Click "Participation agreement" in the bottom right corner to move on to the next section

Click the yellow "start" arrow to sign the participation agreement and release of liability

Click "Click here to sign"

Type your name into the field

Click "confirm and sign". Click on the yellow arrow to progress through each signature field required. Once all are complete you’ll see the finish button appear at the bottom of the page, click this to complete signing the waiver

Click "Finish"

Click "Family data" in the bottom right corner to move on to the next section

Click "Finish"

This page will show the league and NICA fees, as well as the league refund policy. Review the policy and check the box to continue.

Scroll down on the same page to view the league events. You can register your rider for events at this time, or you can register them at a later date. (Events and pricing vary by league, see your league website for more information)

Click "Pay fees now". If you have multiple riders to register you can select to complete their registrations at this step, or just pay the fees for this rider

You will see the league, technology, and NICA fees in your cart. Select "checkout" at the bottom.

Complete required fields on this page, and then click "save and continue"

Select your payment type and then click "save and continue"

This notice will pop-up. Your rider is now registered. If you do not receive and order confirmation email, log back into the Pit Zone and verify that all steps have been completed.
