Registering with OWP/WPC and Paying for Insurance - 2026-2027

RAMP is the system that Ontario Water Polo uses for athlete management in the province. It is also where athletes purchase their insurance for the season.

Go to the RAMP site: <http://TriggerfishWP.rampregistrations.com>

Enter your login information. If you don't remember, please click on "Forgot your password? Reset it here." If you are new to water polo, please click on "Don't have an account? Create one here." Once you've created your account, return to this tutorial.

Click on **Register as a Participant**

Under "Choose a Season" select **2026-2027**. Under "Choose Account Member to Register as a Participant", **choose your own name.**

Choose the appropriate insurance category: - **Community Athlete:** permits you to attend practices but not participate in tournaments - $34.34 - **Provincial Athlete:** permits you to attend practices and participate in Canada only tournaments - $91.93 - **OWP Approved Travel Exemption:** permits you to attend practices and participate in tournaments with teams from Canada AND INTERNATIONAL - $127.93 **NOTE 1: At this point, if your intention is to participate in tournaments in the upcoming year, we recommend signing up at the “Provincial Athlete” level.** **This is because the club intends to continue discussing with WPC whether the higher level of insurance is truly required for domestic tournaments solely because an international team is participating. We will also be liaising with our sister clubs in Montreal and Vancouver to discuss the best way forward.** **If ultimately we are unsuccessful and you are signed up in the Provincial Athlete category, you may have to upgrade your coverage - in this event, instructions will be provided on how to do so. We are sorry for all of this hassle.** **NOTE 2:** You will see that the price of the packages says $0. This is for clubs that do their club fees through the RAMP system (which we do not). The insurance fees are shown at the end of the process. (You think YOU are confused? You should see me trying to set this up!) When you have the correct division, click the box beside it and then "Continue".

If you are joining an intake with the Triggerfish, you can choose **New Member Intake (Free Trial Member).** This gives you 14 days of insurance coverage for playing the sport. When asked when the free trial will commence, choose the date of your intake session. If you are continuing with the Triggerfish after the intake, you must come back to RAMP and update your insurance category to either **Community Athlete, Provincial Athlete or National Athlete.**

On the page, there will be an option to donate $10 to WPC. This is completely optional - but the default is set to donate, so you will need to opt out, if that is what you would like to do. Once you choose your option, click **Continue**.

On the next page, please go through the waivers from OWP/WPC and sign where asked.

Click **Continue** again.

After the waivers are signed, you'll be asked to enter your emergency contact info. If you are using the same emergency contact as before, you can select them in the drop-down. Then click **Continue**.

Continue through the WPC member questions, click Continue again to the payment page. Enter your credit card information for the OWP/WPC insurance and then click **Submit** below and you are done!.
