Remediation I Self-Healing Automation

Our self-healing automation uses AI-driven SupportAssist technology to optimize PC performance and resolve specific PC problems without human intervention or end user disruption. Tap into a library of scripts to automate tasks and remediate issues across the fleet.

**New** **Enhanced Remediation capabilities**: Allow you to create custom workflows using your own PowerShell scripts, view the execution status at each step of the remediation workflow, optionally provide additional admin approval before remediation execution, and create draft remediation rules.

Click "Create rule"

Tip! There are two types of scripts... 1. Incident-driven scripts which are triggered based on telemetry findings. 2. Schedule based scripts - run based on a pre-set schedule you determine in rule creation. We will walk through creating an incident-driven script first followed by a schedule-based script.

Click "Dell Libraries" to access our library of scripts to automate task and remediate issues. Or select "PowerShell" to upload your own signed and certified PowerShell scripts.

Select your desired script from the library dropdown. For this example, we will select an incident-driven script, BSOD remediation.

Select which criteria you want for your rule creation and "Submit".

Click "Next".

Select the sites & groups you want the script to run on.

Name your script and hit "Create rule".

Alert! We are now transitioning to a schedule-based script example. After selecting a schedule-based script from the library, proceeded to the schedule preference section. If section B) Schedule appears, you know you've selected a schedule-based script.

Utilize the occurrence, frequency, day and time drop-downs to select your script cadence. You can run a schedule-based script once or set a cadence for it to follow. Select "Next". Follow the same process as incident-driven scripts and select the sites and groups you want the script to run on.

Name the rule and then click "Create rule".

Tip! We will now proceed to view the script's status and updates, including details at the device level.

Select a script to view from the main remediation dashboard page.

You can view the site, group, service tag, model, execution date and status of the remediation script. Click on the chevron drop-down to see details.

View the details and click "Back".

You now have the ability to select and create custom workflows.

After you name and build your new rule, you choose when you want to execute.

Next, we select the site(s) and group (s) you want this rule to be applied to and then select "create rule".
