Removing Backgrounds

Head to the Candids Library in eDesign and select the image you wish to work on

With an image selected, click the "Remove Background" icon from the quick actions panel. *You can also access the Remove Background tool by right-clicking on a photo or by opening the options menu in the top left.*

Adobe Express will quickly cut out the subject it detects and remove the background. If it is good to go, click "Publish" and you are done! It will save to your library as an edited version. If you would like to make adjustments, click "Full Editor" to open Adobe Express. Follow these next steps to edit it further.

Once inside the full editor, select the image and click "Erase" to clean up the cut out.

Adjust your Zoom to get in close.

Inside Erase, change the Brush to Circle Brush.

Adjust the size (or other parameters) of your brush.

Zoom in on the parts of your image you wish to clean up and begin erasing.

Click Restore to add some of the image back in.

Click Done when you're finished Erasing & Restoring.

Click Reset to zoom out and see your image in view once again.

When you are done, click "Publish".

Click "Publish" once again to send your file back to eDesign.
