Replanning Jobs Individually
1
You can replan jobs individually by clicking into the occurrence - you can access this via the Work Planner, Job List, Multi Planner, Day Pilot, Customer and more. Simply click into the job occurrence to open the details.
2
You will then be able to click the pink three dots to 'Replan' the job.
3
Next, you will need to select the date to replan it to. You can choose from: - Tomorrow - Next Week (a week from the planned date) - Select Date (choose a specific date from the calendar view) - Skip (skip the job until the next scheduled occurrence
4
If you choose 'Select Date', you will need to choose your desired replan date and click 'Select' to confirm.
5
If you check the job or planner views now, you should see that the appointment has moved to the chosen replan date.
Replanning Jobs in Bulk
6
There are many places in the app where you can multi select jobs. This allows you to group multiple jobs and apply changes to them in bulk. This is available in: - Work Planner - Multi Planner - Job List - Rounds - Overdue In the Work Planner, we will just select the coloured numbered dots to select each job. You can also select the two ticks, which will multi-select all jobs in the list.
7
This will allow an action bar to be displayed along the top. One of the options available is the purple 'Replan' icon. Click this to replan the jobs to another date.
8
Again, you'll see the available replan options. Once selected, the job will be replanned to that date.
9
As an alternative to clicking the 'Replan' icon on the action bar, if you are multi-replanning in either the Work Planner or Multi Planner, you can just select the desired job and then click on the day you want to move them to in the planner.
10
Finally confirm the replan by clicking 'Replan' on the prompt. You will also be prompted to choose whether the future schedule on the job should be updated in line with the new due date or not. This links into our 'Replan Always Updates Schedule' setting, which will be explained in more detail below.
Lock Replanning
11
When adding a new job, or editing an existing one, you will see the option to 'Lock Replanning'. If replanning is locked on a job, you will not be able to replan the occurrence.
12
To do this, simply select YES/NO on the 'Lock Replanning' setting at the bottom of the add/edit job form, remembering to click 'SAVE' afterwards.
13
You can also adjust this on the individual job occurrence. If you click into it, via the planner views or other, you will see a 'Lock Replanning' category, which will display whether replanning is locked or unlocked for this job.
14
If you click into it, you will be override it to either: - Use job setting - Locked - Unlocked
15
If you try to replan a job with Lock Replanning enabled, you will see an error, and the job will not be able to be replanned.
Replan Always Updates Schedule Setting
If Replan Always Updates Schedule is *enabled*, when rescheduling an appointment, all future appointments in that job schedule will be updated accordingly in order to **retain the overall job frequency**. If disabled, all future appointments will **not** move in line with the replan. You can find more on this here [https://squeeg.ee/blog/post/replanning-setting.](https://squeeg.ee/blog/post/replanning-setting)
Please note that RAUS will **not** take affect if the job being replanned belongs to a **scheduled** round. Scheduled rounds schedules will always take precedence.
16
To see this setting, head to Settings > Jobs & Scheduling > Replan Always Updates Schedule. You will be able to enable or disable this toggle, and this will apply globally. However, you can override this per replan.
17
As an example:\ On moving a regular 4 weekly appointment from a Monday to a Friday, there are two options. \ **Option A** to keep future appointments as originally planned on Mondays (meaning the next appointment is only 3 weeks 3 days away from the last done one, or,\ **Option B** which updates the schedule to now be every 4 weeks on a Friday retaining the 4 week frequency for the next appointment.\ \ For Option A leave the toggle switched off, for Option B toggle the setting on.
