Requesting Additional Accommodations Through Accommodate Student

If you would like to request additional accommodations, you can complete a supplemental request through your Accommodate account. Follow the steps below.

Symplicity

Navigate to your Accommodate student account. [ ](https://iastate-accommodate.symplicity.com/manager/index.php?tab=loginas#tab_id_loginas)

From your Accommodate student account, click "Accommodation".

Click "Supplemental"

Click "Add New"

First you will list what additional accommodation(s) you are requesting.

Next, explain how your disability affects, limits, or impacts you as a student and your need for additional accommodations.

If you have additional documentation you would like to be reviewed and considered for this request, mark yes. You can upload the documentation on Accommodate, email it to [accessibility@iastate.edu](mailto:accessibility@iastate.edu) or have it faxed to 515-294-2397.

Click submit. Coordinators will review the request and any documentation provided previously and/or in addition to this request. Please allow up to one week for this process.
