Requesting Inspections Online

This guide is for Requesting Inspections online, making it easier for users to navigate the necessary steps efficiently. It provides clear instructions on how to track Inspection status, select inspection types, and manage Inspections, including cancellations and rescheduling.

Navigate to [https://newbergor.portal.opengov.com](https://newbergor.portal.opengov.com/) Login to your Account and go to your "Dashboard"

From your Dashboard you can view: \ Payments Due, Staff Requests, Permits and documents issued and Applications applied for. To request an Inspection Click on the Application in the list you need to request an Inspection For.

Once you are in the application you will see a list on the Left that shows where our application is in the process. To request an inspection the inspections must have a Blue Arrow next to it, this indicates that it is ACTIVE. Click on the Active Inspection Type you need to request.

Once you Select the Inspection another Window will open here you can request an Inspection by Clicking "New Appointment"

A pop-up Window will appear where you can select the specific type of inspection you need done by Clicking "+ Add" next to they type. You can add Multiple Types. You must choose a Type, if you can not find it in this section you can call in your Inspection to (503) 554-7714

Once all the Inspection Types are selected Click "Next"

Choose the Date you want to have the Inspection Click "Next"

On the Next Page you can choose who is to be contacted regarding the requested Inspection. Including Guests, or other external contacts.

Once the correct Contact is selected Click "Next"

On this page you will be able to leave notes for the Inspector

When the inspection Information is complete Click "Request Appointment"

You will be taken back to the Inspection location. You can see under "Requested" The inspection just requested. On the Right under "Inspection Types" you can see which ones have been requested.

If you find that you selected the wrong Date or missed an Inspection Type you can Cancel the Inspection by Clicking "Cancel" . You will be able to Cancel a request up until the Inspection Request has been approved which is 7am the next day.

Once the Inspector Confirms the Inspection you will get an email that your Inspection has been Confirmed and Scheduled. To see the details Click on the "Down Arrow" on the right of the box.

The Inspection will be under the "Scheduled" Tab and under the Inspection Types the "Requested" will show as "Scheduled". You will get an email that your Inspection has been Confirmed and Scheduled. You Cannot edit the Inspection, except for the Notes

After the Inspections are Resulted you will receive an Email that an Inspection has been resulted. In the Permitting system go to the Inspection under the "Past Tab" you will see what the Inspections results were along with an Notes. on the Right under Inspection Types it will also show the Inspection Results.

If an Inspection did not Pass or was a Partial you can schedule another inspection when the items in the Inspection Notes are completed. Click "New Appointment" and follow the previous instructions.

Once all Inspections are "Passed" and Completed the "Final Inspection" Option will become Active. You will be able to request the Final Inspection by Clicking "Final Inspection"

To Request a Final Click "New Appointment" and follow the previous directions

Another way to see what inspections you have and the status is from the "Dashboard" Click "Inspections"

From your Dashboard You will also see Inspections that are Active under "Action Required".
