Navigate to your map and then to the Passport Event Map.

Click Registration & Sharing.

Scroll to Payment Options at the bottom.
How to Require Payment for Registration

Check 'Require Payment for Registration' and input a price.

Now the end user will need to make payment before accessing the passport event.
How to Solicit a Donation at Registration

Click 'Solicit Donation'.

Provide 3 suggested donation amounts.

Now the end user will be able to make a donation before accessing the passport event.
