Review Position Control Transaction

This guide provides step-by-step instructions to locate and review Position Control transactions in UCPath. Use this guide to track approval status and confirm assigned position numbers for new roles.

9 steps

Navigate to UCPath [https://ucpath.universityofcalifornia.edu](https://ucpath.universityofcalifornia.edu/home)

On the **Workforce Administration** homepage, click the **Position Management** tile.

On the left navigation pane, select **Position Control Request**.

Select the **Review Transaction** option.

Click the **Next** button.

Enter search criteria in one or more search fields. For best results, use the **Transaction ID**.

Click the **Search** button.

For new positions, the Position Number is assigned once the transaction completes local approval.

To view the approval workflow, click the Supporting Documents tab.
