Navigate to [https://pubs.geoscienceworld.org/seg](https://pubs.geoscienceworld.org/seg)

First, confirm that you are recognized as an authorized user of your institution's subscription by noting the name of your institution on the top-right corner. Then, to either access your GSW Registered Account or to create one, Click "Sign In Open Menu"

Click "GSW Registered User Sign In"

If you have an account, sign in here.

If you need to create one, click "Register"

Complete the required fields denoted by the red asterisk.

When registering for the first time, you may be prompted to sign into the GSW Registered User account. Once you do so, you will see your name as you entered it next to the name of your institution. Once signed in, the default behavior is to take you to the GSW homepage, not the SEG homepage. But it is very easy to get back to the SEG homepage. You can simply go to<https://pubs.geoscienceworld.org/seg>, but let's look at some other ways to navigate to your content.

The top menu bar has an option for "Journals". This will bring you to a list of journals to select. Find the SEG journal you are looking for and click its link.

There is also a "Publisher" option here. Click on this and you will find a dropdown menu listing all publishers on GSW. Find SEG and click on its link.

The publishers are also listed on the bottom of the GSW homepage. Find SEG listed and select its link to be brought to the SEG homepage.

Click "Society of Exploration Geophysicists"

Let's look at some things you can do with your registered account. Navigate to the content you are looking for. We'll use Geophysics as an example. Click "Journals"

Click "Geophysics"

We have selected an article from the current issue.

Let's look at one of the items in the Tools menu. Click "Tools"

If you wish to add the citation to the Citation Manager, click "Add to Citation Manager"

The Citation Manager can be found on the website's top menu bar.

Click "Citation Manager"

Here you will find options to remove or download the citation.

To explore other options available for use with your GSW Registered Account, click on your name.

You will then find a list of options, such as alerts, subscriptions, profile, and more. Please remember, if your access is granted via IP Range, then you need to be on that IP Range in order to access your institution's subscription. The GSW Registered User account alone will not grant you access.
