Open SafeZone Desktop Application

Navigate to your Start Menu or the Search on your taskbar.

Click "Start Menu"

Click "All" to view all installed applications.

Find "SafeZone" and click to launch.
Log In and Set Up

Type your Tarleton issued email address in the email box. Click "Next"

This will take you to the Single Sign-On (SSO) login. \ Enter your full Tarleton email address, click "Next". \ Enter your Tarleton password, click "Sign in". \ Complete the Microsoft Authenticator.

Once logged in, click "Choose Location".

From the "Zoom to area:", click the dropdown menu to select your campus location.

If you are on Stephenville Main Campus, click "Main Campus"

Zoom around the map to find the building you are located in. Once you find the building, click to drop a pin.

After dropping your pin, type in the exact room location in "Room:" box. Click "OK"
Alert! If there are multiple floors (levels), specify the floor you are on. This helps be as exact as possible in an emergency.
Check-In Function
Tip! Check-In's are for high-risk locations or situations. By using the check-in, you allow the Police Department and Control Center to "pay attention to this location". Example you work in the Counseling Center or after hours in the Thompson Student Center/Rec Center.

Click "Check-In" once.

You can also set a timer. This would be used for a short period, based on need and comfort.
Timer Expiration! When the timer expires or the alarm time completes, this will notify Control Center to take action.
Sign Out
Alert! If the computer is used by multiple people, you must sign out to allow the next person to sign in.

Click "Sign Out"

Click "Yes"
