A new Project has opened in TBC. Now let's say for example - I need to be able to work from my at-home PC for the upcoming week. I need access to my Project Templates to run a Takeoff Report I have been tasked with completing while working from home. We will now Save this current Template to our Trimble ID (cloud server). Click **File.**

Click **Save As Template.**

Click in the **Name:** box and type a custom name for this new Template we will create. I will call mine "Easton_Scribe_Template" for this example. Click to highlight in the box called **Save Template to Profile**. **\*IMPORTANT\* ^^This is the magic setting for the entire process ^^**

Click **Save**.

Depending on your specific Project Settings for the Template being saved, you may get this warning below regarding Point Cloud Data being removed in project. Click **Yes** to bypass this warning.

Now we will confirm that the template we created above was saved to Trimble Profile successfully. Click **File**.

Click **New.**

Click to highlight the row of the newly created Profile Template. Click **OK** to open directly from Trimble Profile.

WORLD DOMINATION TIP: You can use the "Save to Local" once you have that new computer that was being ordered :-)

You now have a new Project opened using that template from your Trimble ID. To verify you in-fact have all of the custom attributes built into a Template - review the View Filter Manager (layer manager), or even the MSI manager to confirm your custom Takeoff Materials have imported as these are always included in a well built template.
