Tip!๐ Master Checklist: Create, Save & Schedule an Event
### ๐จ Step 1 โ Create Your Event
- Adjust **brightness** with the top slider.
- Use the **two effect sliders** to fine-tune the effect (speed, width, fade, etc.).
- Pick your **colors**:
- Box 1 โ Primary color
- Box 2 โ Secondary color
- Box 3 โ Third color *(optional)*
- โก *Tip: Order matters. A black box changes the look when using โColors Only.โ*
- Choose a **palette option**:
- Color 1 | Colors 1 & 2 | Colors Only | Gradient | Random Cycle
- Select an **effect** from the list and preview on your lights.

### ๐พ Step 2 โ Save Your Event
- Tap **Save As โ New Event**.
- Give it a **Name** (e.g., โChristmas Red/Green Fadeโ).
- Add a **Description** (effect + style).
- Save under **User Created** (for easy access).
- Click **Save** โ your event is now in the **Event Catalog**.

Step 3 โ Schedule Your Event
- Go to **Menu โ Schedule**.
- For always-on events, set them as **Daytime/Nighttime Defaults**.
- To schedule a custom time:
- Tap **Scheduled Event** (upper right).
- Scroll or type the first 3 letters of the event (press Enter).
- Click to highlight the event.
- Select the **days of the week** (blue box = active).
- Set the **Start Time & Date** (e.g., 6:00 PM, Dec 1).
- Set the **End Time & Date** (e.g., 11:00 PM, Dec 1).
- Click **Save**.
- Your scheduled event now appears in your schedule list.

### โก Quick Rules to Remember
- **Scheduled Events** override **Defaults**.
- When a scheduled event ends, your **Default Event** automatically plays.
- For **sunset โ sunrise** events, use **Nighttime Default** instead of scheduling.
